What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser so it can remember that you are signed in, keep settings working, and avoid asking the same questions on every visit.

The codebase also uses browser storage, not just cookies. Important keys include stellara_cookie_consent for consent choices, stellara-theme for theme choice, stellara_unit_system and units for unit preferences, account session keys such as authToken, refreshToken, and user, and assistant convenience keys such as stellara_ai_selected_location, stellara_ai_profile, and stellara_ai_chat_history. The app also keeps short-term cache and operational keys for things like events, images, Vercel script probes, push prompts, and location helpers.
Third-party cookies and similar storage
Stellara does not run ad-tech cookies and does not sell data. If you enable the optional support and marketing category, the Tawk.to support widget may set its own cookies or similar storage. On the production Vercel host, optional Vercel analytics or speed-insights scripts may also collect browser and performance data. The exact third-party cookie names are not listed in the source code.
How you can control cookies
You can use Stellara's cookie controls, clear cookies from your browser, or block cookies in the browser settings. Most browsers let you do this from their privacy or site-data settings.
If you disable necessary cookies or clear all local storage, sign-in, saved sessions, notification state, some assistant convenience features, and other account features may stop working until you sign in again or reset your preferences.
